Lori Heemann

Programs Manager

Lori Heemann officially joined the DEF Team in July 2025 as the Programs Manager after many years of volunteering with DEF, highlighted by the establishment of Joe’s Fund and the Student Centers at the high school and middle school. Lori brings 29 years of experience in education and non-profit work, including being a member of the CSD School Board from 2000-2003. Both of her children, Lia and Joe Bodine are CSD graduates. Lori is excited to be working in Decatur, this community that she loves.
