The Circle of Stars is DEF’s core community of donors - sponsoring businesses - whose generosity lights the way for Decatur’s students.

From the stellar beginnings of a Nebula to the steady brilliance of a North Star, every level of giving represents a deep commitment to helping our children overcome obstacles and reach their fullest potential.

All Circle of Star donors, regardless of giving level, will receive these perks, as a thank you.

  • Your business’ name will be listed (unless requested to be anonymous):

    • on our website with your logo and backlink,

    • in our Decatur Focus annual report, and

    • at all DEF events as a Circle of Stars business sponsor (on a banner of logos).

  • We have some exciting new merch in the works. It will be a pleasant surprise!

  • We will hold a private donor event at a local home exclusively for our Circle of Stars donors to attend.

  • We will acknowledge your business’ status as a Circle of Stars donor in a social post, tagging your business, on DEF’s Facebook and Instagram pages.

  • You’ll receive an exclusive Circle of Stars business sponsor window cling to proudly display at your business.

Pledge early. Give flexibly.

We offer 4 levels of giving (with associated perks) and accept pledges and partial donations throughout the year. As long as your pledge is fulfilled by the end of June each year, you can give in any amount and frequency you like.

$1,500 - $2,999

When you donate at this level, you’ll receive:

    • Name Recognition

    • DEF Merch

    • Invitation to a Star Social

    • Social Media Advertising

    • Business Window Cling

  • Supper & Sips will be on November 6th, 2025.

    You’ll receive two tickets valued at $100 each. At the event you’ll receive a special name tag indicating your support as a member of the Circle of Stars.

  • The Tour deCatur will be on March 14th, 2025.

    You’ll receive five (5) race bibs for whichever races you desire to participate in (Tot trot, Fun run, 1 mile, 5k, or none run).

    And you’ll receive a Tour deCatur sponsor yard sign to display at your business or home.

  • At this donor level we allow your business to include a promo item or flyer in all Tour deCatur race packets - advertising your business in front of hundreds of engaged Decaturites!

$3,000 - $4,999

When you donate at this level, you’ll receive:

    • Name Recognition

    • DEF Merch

    • Invitation to a Star Social

    • Social Media Advertising

    • Business Window Cling

  • Supper & Sips will be on November 6th, 2025.

    You’ll receive four (4) tickets valued at $100 each. At the event you’ll receive a special name tag indicating your support as a member of the Circle of Stars.

  • The Tour deCatur will be on March 14th, 2025.

    You’ll receive five (5) race bibs for whichever races you desire to participate in (Tot trot, Fun run, 1 mile, 5k, or none run).

  • At this level of giving your business earns a table-/tent- presence at the Tour deCatur.

$5,000 - $9,999

When you donate at this level, you’ll receive:

    • Invitation to a Star Social

    • Social Media Advertising

    • Business Window Cling

  • Supper & Sips will be on November 6th, 2025.

    You’ll receive six (6) tickets valued at $100 each. At the event you’ll receive VIP seating near the front.

  • The Tour deCatur will be on March 14th, 2025.

    You’ll receive five (5) race bibs for whichever races you desire to participate in (Tot trot, Fun run, 1 mile, 5k, or none run).

    And you’ll receive a Tour deCatur  sponsor yard sign to display at your business or home.

  • At this donor level we allow your business to include a promo item or flyer in all Tour deCatur race packets - advertising your business in front of hundreds of engaged Decaturites!

  • At this level of giving your business earns a table-/tent- presence at the Tour deCatur.

  • Our Supernova business sponsors will receive additional individual social media thank you posts on DEF’s Facebook and Instagram pages.

$10,000 +

When you donate at this level, you’ll receive:

    • Name Recognition

    • DEF Merch

    • Invitation to a Star Social

    • Social Media Advertising

    • Business Window Cling

  • Supper & Sips will be on November 6th, 2025.

    You’ll receive a designated VIP table at the event with 8-10 tickets for you and your guests valued at $100 each.

    At the event your table will be at the front in the VIP section.

  • The Tour deCatur will be on March 14th, 2025.

    You’ll receive five (5) race bibs for whichever races you desire to participate in (Tot trot, Fun run, 1 mile, 5k, or none run).

    And you’ll receive a Tour deCatur  sponsor yard sign to display at your business or home.

  • At this donor level we allow your business to include a promo item or flyer in all Tour deCatur race packets - advertising your business in front of hundreds of engaged Decaturites!

  • At this level of giving your business earns a table-/tent- presence at the Tour deCatur.

  • Our North Star business sponsors will receive additional individual social media thank you posts on DEF’s Facebook and Instagram pages.

  • North Star sponsors are given the opportunity to be the sole presenting sponsor of one of DEF’s main events:

    • Battle of the Bands (Sept)

    • Supper & Sips (Nov)

    • Tour deCatur (March)

    • No Ordinary Joe (April)

    While Rising Star and Supernova level donors may have a table presence at Tour deCatur (our largest event), there is no other commercial sponsorship available at No Ordinary Joe.
