Steve Salcedo

Steve and his wife Nicki have lived in Decatur for over 20 years. The Decatur community and its schools and teachers have helped educate and spark the creative interests of their four children. Raised in a working class family, Steve is the lifelong beneficiary of a K-12 public school education with dedicated teachers who gifted and nurtured his reading, writing, and empathy. He fondly remembers the names of nearly all of his teachers from Kindergarten through 12th grade.
